Podere Piannocolo: beautiful villa with infinity pool (10 persons)

In addition to our own apartments in Casa San Carlo, we also rent out two luxury private houses with private pools: Casa del Leone and Podere Piannocolo.

A 20-minute drive from Casa San Carlo is a unique, beautifully restored and very stylishly furnished villa, called Podere Piannocolo. Four years ago there was nothing more than a ruin here, now you will find an impressive country house of no less than 225 square meters of living space with phenomenal views over the Umbrian hills. The villa consists of 3 floors, divided into the main house (2 floors, suitable for 4 people) and an extra apartment (top floor, suitable for up to 6 people). The entire villa can accommodate up to 10 people.

On the ground floor and on the ground floor is the main house (2 floors). When you arrive at the house and walk down the garden stairs, you are immediately on the spacious terrace that borders the entire front of the house. Because the luxury kitchen is also located here (with patio doors to the terrace), the outdoor dining table is directly under a high canopy for the necessary shade. Right next to the garden table is the stone BBQ and the pizza (wood) oven. This way you can serve your freshly baked pizza at the table right away! On the other side of the terrace is a spacious sitting area with a large standing parasol. Wherever you look, you're surrounded by flowers and greenery in Podere Pixolo: the garden is skilfully and beautifully landscaped, and your eye is naturally drawn to the particularly impressive swimming pool, located a little lower. This 'infinity pool' is 12 x 6 meters in size and is filled with salt water. While you swim laps, you look out for miles over the olive grove and the valley. Around the pool is the sunbathing area with beautiful wooden sun loungers (with sun cushions) for sunbathing.

Layout main house:

From the modern, fully equipped kitchen (six-burner stove, convection oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer) you enter the living room with sitting area, fireplace and dining table. Here too there are patio doors to the terrace. There is underfloor heating in all floors, the windows are double glazed and equipped with mosquito nets. The whole house has been restored in an eco-friendly way: there is a heat pump and solar panels for the energy supply, heating and air conditioning. There is a guest toilet next to the kitchen.

Via an illuminated staircase you walk to the floor on the ground floor: here is the master bedroom with bathroom en suite (with double shower cabin with 2 rain showers, a bath, toilet and double sink). Next to this is the guest room/study with its own en suite bathroom (with rain shower and toilet). The three-person sofa can serve as a comfortable double bed.

Layout extra apartment (3 bedrooms, max 6 persons)

The apartment on the first floor is completely self-contained and has its own entrance. Via a separate staircase at the back of the main house you reach the top floor with its own front door. As you enter the apartment, you are in a bright, spacious living room with a fireplace and a spacious sitting area. The open kitchen is fully equipped and there is a beautiful teak dining table. Next to the kitchen is the 1st double bedroom. If you walk further into the apartment, you enter the 2nd double bedroom with the modern bathroom (with glass shower cabin and rain shower, sink and toilet) right next to it. And finally the last bedroom, also for 2 people. The apartment has its own terrace/sitting area on the side of the house.

The two living areas (the house and the apartment) can also be rented separately in the early and late season. In the high season (the months of July and August) Podere Piannocolo can only be rented in its entirety.

There is a covered car port for 2 cars at the front of the house.

Podere Piannocolo will be available for rental in 2024 from April 22 to December 31. In the months of July and August it is rented per whole week (from Saturday - Saturday). In the other months, midweeks or long weekends are also possible (minimum 4 nights).
