General Terms and Conditions Casa San Carlo 2025-2026

RESERVATIONS

You can request a reservation via the booking system on the websitewww.casasancarlo.com or via email [email protected]. Casa San Carlo will then answer your reservation request in writing as soon as possible. Once Casa San Carlo and 'the tenant' have reached an agreement on reservation, the reservation is binding and legally valid. You will also receive the request from Casa San Carlo to pay the deposit. If you first want to take an option at Casa San Carlo, you can of course: you request this via email, and it is valid for a maximum of 3 days. Casa San Carlo will arrange the exact date on which the option will expire with you by email. Upon expiration of the option, Casa San Carlo is entitled to make it available again without notice.

PAYMENT TERMS

Within 7 days after you have received a confirmation on your reservation request, you must pay 50% of the total rental amount (including final cleaning) in advance. Only when Casa San Carlo has received this deposit, your reservation is final. You will always receive a confirmation by email that your deposit has been received and that your reservation has become final. No later than 8 weeks before the agreed day of arrival, the remaining amount must be paid, to the same bank account number on which the deposit was paid. If you book within 8 weeks before the agreed day of arrival, you immediately pay the entire rent including final cleaning (100%) to make the reservation final. The tenant owes, after approval of the reservation, the full amount of the trip to Casa San Carlo, subject to the cancellation conditions; Upon arrival, Casa San Carlo will ask for a cash deposit of € 50. This will be deducted from the final bill at the end of the stay. In case of earlier departure than the agreed departure date when making the reservation, no refund will be given and the cancellation policy of Casa San Carlo (see below) will apply.

CANCELLATION FEES

Any cancellation must be confirmed in writing, via email, to Casa San Carlo. The cancellation is effective after Casa San Carlo has received this message and confirmed it in writing. In the event of a cancellation, the following amounts are due:
+ In case of cancellation up to 3 months before the day of arrival: 50% of the total travel sum.
+ In case of cancellation between 3 months and 8 weeks before the day of arrival: 70% of the total travel sum.
+ In case of cancellation between 8 weeks and 3 weeks before the day of arrival: 85% of the total travel sum.
+ In case of cancellation within 3 weeks before the day of arrival: 100% of the total travel sum.
+ In case of cancellation, a refund of the amounts paid (or the provision of a so-called voucher) is unfortunately not possible. We therefore advise all tenants to take out a good cancellation insurance (All Risk). In case of cancellation, the tenant can then claim a full refund of the rent. The reason for cancellation must fall within the coverage area of the cancellation insurance.

In the event of force majeure such as strike, (civil) war, a natural disaster or terrorism, it will be examined in consultation with the tenant whether another holiday accommodation is available elsewhere or whether cancellation will take place.

LIABILITY AND USE OF IMAGES

During your stay in the holiday home / in Casa San Carlo, you as a tenant are fully liable for the rented holiday home, the furnishings and all items belonging to the rented property. Any damage must be reported immediately to the owner/Casa San Carlo. The costs of the damage can possibly be recovered from your travel insurance. We recommend that you take out this before your holiday. Casa San Carlo accepts no responsibility in case of personal injury, loss, theft of or damage suffered by the tenant including his companions, howsoever caused.

By making a reservation at Casa San Carlo and when entering Casa San Carlo, you tacitly give Casa San Carlo permission to make (atmospheric) images and use them. Photos and videos taken in/around Casa San Carlo (the public areas of our accommodation) may be used for marketing purposes, including publication on social media and the official website of Casa San Carlo.

COMPLAINTS AND APPLICATION OF LAW

All apartments and common areas at Casa San Carlo are carefully decorated and equipped. If things are not to your liking, we would like to hear about it during your stay, so that we can discuss your complaint with you and solve any shortcomings on our part immediately. Applicable law and jurisdiction: These General Terms and Conditions and all agreements to which these General Terms and Conditions apply (or also apply) are exclusively governed by Italian law. All disputes between the parties will therefore be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Italy.
